1. Copy All input files to DFS(Distributed File System)
2. Submit a Query to Client Application
3. Client Application store Input in HDFS NameNodes
4. Client Splits job into Small Jobs
5. These Small Job Information send to HDFS
6. Client submit the job to job Tracker
7. Job Tracker Initialize Job to Job Queue
8. Job Tracker Read Job Files From HDFS
9. Job Tracker Start to create Maps and Reduces
10. Task Tracker send Heartbeat to Job Tracker
11. Job Tracker Pick up the Task to Job Queue
12. Send Task to Task Tracker  

      

What is The Heartbeats

Task Tracker send a Message to Job Tracker that I am alive and assign me some task then Job Tracker Pick up the Task from Job Queue and Assign to Task Tracker.
